We do file medical and vision insurance. Health and Vision Insurance are very different, and each employer's health plan has unique qualities. Dr. Weikum is medically certified to treat any medical problems that you might have including glaucoma, diabetic eye conditions or complications. He also treats eye conditions caused by the over wearing of contact lenses and infections of the eyes.
Vision insurance generally covers your basic eye examination and refraction only.
Medical insurance addresses any medical conditions of the eye or body. We file both types of insurance.
We adhere to the regulations of the insurance policy, but are not contracted to your company or the insurance company that they have chosen for you.
Flexible Spending Accounts and HSA's sometimes expire at the end of the year so schedule your appointments for your family before your benefits expire. Don't wait until December.
